So I was at work the other day, knocking out shipment with one of my coworkers, when payday came up. I expressed my gratitude for payday being the current friday. The girl looked puzzled. "Didn't we get paid the friday before last?"
I looked at her a moment and responded, "Yes..."
She still looked puzzled. The silence was only broken by the sound of the rusted gears moving in her head. "I thought we got paid every 2 weeks, not every other week."
I stared for a moment, astounded that she might actually be serious. I slowly responded, giving her time to perhaps somehow grasp what she just said. "That's the same thing."
She paused for a moment and stood with a thoughtful expression. Yet again, gears turned and noises were made until finally she responded, "Oh!"
Oh Hollister and the ditzes I work with.

I Know the Pieces Fit
It's all finally coming together. Everyday is one step closer to the happiest day of my life thus far, and every day is better than the last. Hopefully I will have a car soon, to replace the one that died 2 weeks after I got it. We will have the last couple things paid off for the wedding, and have money left over! (Minus the intsy bintsy fact that we're already $3,500 in debt because of my car problems).
Unfortunately, with everything coming together means EVERYTHING. Including everything in my work world. Today Moshe needed something for his stuff, Summer needed to talk to me on the phone, though she won't return my calls, and Moshe informed me that his Sister-In-Law's company has agreed to let me make their system, they also want me to do their website, as well as help them get their server setup. Holy crap. I thought I didn't have any time as it was. Now I have even less.
Hopefully what all this means though, is that soon we will have such a quick influx of money on hand, that we will be able to pay off my debts, and get back to being totally on top of things. The sooner we can actually start saving money for college, the better! Thankfully BYUI is also very cheap.
In other news, I saw some guy almost walk into a wall yesterday because he was looking at his iPod. I love technology.
In the words of Willy Wonka: "Everything in this room is eatable. In fact even I am eatable, but that is called cannibalism my dear children and is frowned upon in most civilizations." I love food. Especially fast food. I think I'd be fat if I didn't have such a good metabolism. Sometimes, why I'm eating real food...I think of how bad I want fast food. Sad. I know.

Albertsons and Me
Holy crap. I just got 3 Boxes of Eggo waffles for $5! And 4 Boxes of Hot Pockets for $6! That will last for so long! Holy good prices! Jillian always told me in school that I was retarded for going to Broulims instead of Albertsons...she was right!
March is a hard month for my fiance. Lately it seems our arguments aren't so much difference of opinion, but lack of communication. Learning to understand each other in all sorts of situations seems to be a thing that will take a while to master. This month for instance, I mentioned is hard for Jillian. I've always known that it's best not to push her to talk when she's acting funny, but she also lets me ask once, so she knows that I know something is up, and I would like to be there for her. So I asked her, and she started telling me. My natural reaction when someone is trying to share with me something that's making them sad, is to compare, empathize or otherwise try to understand more of what is going on. I soon found out that there is certain situations where that is not what to do. Sometimes there is nothing to do, except be a shoulder to cry on. The more I learn about my soon-to-be-wife the more I love her. She's so strong-willed and such an amazing woman. I count my blessings that she wants to keep me around.
So. I've been having some strange craving recently to play FF7. But sadly, everytime I think about hooking up my PS2 and digging out my ancient PS1 Memory Card, I decide to go play DOTA or Disgaea 3 instead. Of course, eventually the craving will die, and come back, reincarnated as a craving for FF6, or FF Tactics, or something else instead. I also am at a standstill in the Fire Emblem game for Wii. The reason behind me being postponed is the Wii itself. I really, really like keeping save files on consoles, it's a great idea. However, I noticed that certain games can't transfer save files! Fire Emblem isn't a problem, I just left the save file in my friends Wii. However I also tried to save over my Smash Bros data, and it wouldn't let me! How dumb is that? I really hope my sister PS3 will let me copy over my save from Disgaea 3. Also, I've been dreaming DOTA games, I think that's a bad thing. Of course, it's not the only thing I dream of, although most my dreams are really odd.
